中科驭数拟推出新一代DPU芯片K2
3月31日，中科驭数发布下一代DPU芯片计划，将基于自研的KPU（Kernel Processing Unit）芯片架构，推出新一代DPU（面向数据中心的专用处理器）芯片K2。
据介绍，该芯片可应用于金融科技、数据中心、混合云及边缘计算等高带宽、低延迟、数据密集型的计算场景。
K2的功能包括完善的L2/ L3/L4层的网络协议处理，可处理高达200G网络带宽数据。融合了数据库、大数据处理能力，直接面向OLAP、OLTP及大数据处理平台，还囊括了机器学习计算核以及安全加密运算核。
据中科驭数创始人兼CEO鄢贵海介绍，DPU是最新发展起来的专用处理器的一个大类，占位对计算延迟、数据安全、资源虚拟化的需求。
据悉，该芯片预计将于2021年底流片。
