Spring break is approaching (or, in some districts, already over), and slowly and steadily students are returning to face-to-face learning. While this is reason for celebration, it doesn’t mean the hard times are behind us, and teachers have much to grapple with -- including the challenging prospect of concurrent teaching.
Our goal is to simplify your life by creating grab n’ go templates filled with engaging resources and ideas for lessons and units. This template takes a dive into edtech as the pandemic recedes, what’s worth keeping, what is helping, and what is the future of technology in education.
What is the value proposition of edtech in schools post-pandemic?
At the top of the template, there are two interesting articles that take a more holistic look at the value of technology in education, in light of this past year.
Tools to help with concurrent teaching and more
The next section of the template offers some helpful resources for concurrent, or hybrid, teaching, a challenge many teachers are facing this spring. The host of The Educational DuctTape Podcast shared his thoughts on this with us in our YouTube series.
What we know now
The last section of the template takes a look forward -- after this year of becoming Zoom experts, with crash courses in teaching remotely, how do we anticipate that education will change and what role can we play in that?
Most of all, what we know for sure is that despite all the uncertainty, teachers remain steadily fixed on what matters most -- keeping students safe, engaged in learning, and moving forward into their futures.
