NY Senate passed S6670B ("Aggravated Strangulation") unanimously, and S8496 (Repeal 50-a) with only R's against. So why isn't S1527B happening? Legalization isn't a panacea (https://nature.com/articles/s41562-020-0858-1…) but drug enforcement is absolutely part of structural racism.
