Before students decide to study at a university they usually try to collect as much as information they can about its campus. In this article we present you ten college campuses in the USA where everyone would like to be part of.

1. Colgate University: Spring is the best season for students to enjoy the campus land which extends to 575 acres, including 2.300 trees. The university is nestled on a hillside at the northern edge of the Allegheny Plateau, and is home to sugar maples, northern red oaks, and Taylor Lake. Apart from other facilities the university hosts a chapel house where students of any religious background are welcomed. This is a place of personal worship and meditation. Chapel house was built in 1959.
2. Baylor University: Its campus is considered one of the most beautiful in the country with excellent academic resourses. Take a look at the East Village Complex, including Teal Residential College and Earle Hall or at the magnificent historic buildings and you will understand that each space has been designed with students in mind. In addition, Baylor’s innovative Living-Learning Centers combine residence hall life with classrooms and faculty offices in order to create a place where students can collaborate with each other and with faculty on a daily basis. 3. Trinity University: It may be a small university but this doesn’t mean that it falls behind in activities, events, fitness programs and socializing compared to other universities. The university is located on 100 acres in Hartford, Connecticut. It was founded in 1823. Trinity’s campus features a central green area known as the Main Quad, designed by the famous architect Frederick Law Olmsted. The large expanse of grass is bound on the west by the Long Walk, on the east by the Lower Long Walk, on the north by the chapel, and on the south by the Cook and Goodwin-Woodward dormitories.
4. University of Notre Dame: Another campus considered one of the most beautiful in the USA. The whole campus stands on 1,250 acres. Its main characteristics are the collegiate Gothic architecture, the park-like landscape, the exquisite outdoor sculpture sights and the breathtaking views. One of the principles that follows the campus is the implementation of specific measures in order to achieve its sustainability goals.
5. Rhodes University: Its gothic campus sits on a 123-acre, wooded site in the heart of historic Midtown Memphis. Henry Hibbs has designed the original buildings, including Southwestern Hall (1925), Kennedy Hall (1925), and Robb and White dormitories (1925). Later buildings such as the Catherine Burrow Refectory (1957) were designed by H. Clinton Parrent, a young associate of Hibbs. In September of 2017 Rhodes opened its most recent expansion, Robertson Hall. It is a 30 million dollars, 55,000-square-foot science facility that features state-of-the-art research and teaching labs and smart classrooms. It is worth mentioning that the Princeton Review named Rhodes the #1 Most Beautiful College Campus in America in its 2017 edition of The Best 381 Colleges.
6. Amherst College: The university is located adjacent to Amherst, a town of 35,000 people in the western part of the state. Amherst College has a scenic 1,000-acre campus and includes a 500-acre wildlife sanctuary. Also, has a total of 34 residence halls. The university uses specific methods which help it retain a sustainable profile.
7. Vassar College: It was founded in 1861. The campus includes 1,000 acres of land and has more than 100 buildings. Its style ranges between Collegiate Gothic and International. Main Builging stands at the center of the campus, being one of the best examples of Second Empire architecture in the United States. Some other interesting buildings is the Ferry House that was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1951 and the Noyes House, designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen.
8. Duke University: It holds 8,693 acres of land, including the 7,044 acres of Duke Forest. Duke University currently owns 256 buildings. The West area of the campus is mainly characterized by gothic architectural style. The East area of the Campus, is composed of buildings in the Georgian architecture style. In 2011, Travel+Leisure listed Duke among the most beautiful college campuses in the United States. As far as Duke Forest is concerned it is the largest private research forest in North Carolina and one of the largest in the nation. The recent years took place a lot of renovations to many constructions of the campus.
9. Harvard University: Its main campus is extended up to 209 acres of land and is centered on Harvard Yard in Cambridge. There are a lot of interesting things someone can discover as the campus of Harvard University is full of history. Students can start from the Harvard Yard and continue to the research hospitals in Mission Hill and also can reach the top of Harvard Stadium or the stacks below Widener Library.
10. Salve Regina University: Tradition is all that matters at Salve Regina. The 80-acre campus, embeds historic buildings while is infused in the culture of Newport, Rhode Island. The historical campus is set on seven contiguous Gilded Age estates with 21 structures of historic significance. Furthermore, the university is home to the Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy.
