Dot Product

點積(Dot Product) = 純量積(Scalar Product) ≒ 內積(Inner Product) ≠ 叉積(Cross Product)

點積的名稱源自表示點乘運算的點號（a·b），讀作 a dot b，純量積的叫法則是在強調其運算結果為純量而非向量。

  • (a · b) = (b · a)
  • 方向計算
    • 夾角大於0則表示方向相近, 小於0則表示相遠, 0表示垂直.
    • shader 中相當常用.
  • 計算物理力做功
  • 其他關鍵字: 兩向量夾角 LookAt Vector3.Dot

其實只是覺得大學時期寫的那篇 兩向量的夾角角度 沒有寫到用途的部分很可惜…
然後又很容易忘掉, 因此補寫一篇 XD
