Continued growth and improvement lands Devbridge on the Inc. 5000 list

Teams that continually make great things

Devbridge yet again joins the Inc.5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies in the nation for the 8th consecutive time. Eight years of growth, eight years of continuous improvement on how we ship transformative products for our clients.

As we navigate through choppy waters of 2020, we remain a sanctuary of predictable product output for our clients. The investments we've made in quality metrics, service design, and product maturity are paying dividends. Our standard operating model at Devbridge employs the tools, infrastructure, and practices necessary to efficiently facilitate distributed work—that’s how we’ve been operating for over twelve years across our five global offices.

We continue to invest in our capabilities and services. DevSecOps, Service Design, Design Systems, and Digital Transformation services are seeing the majority of the growth volume, while pilot programs on Data Streaming and Accessibility Design are starting to pick up steam.

In late 2019, we started a journey to audit, standardize, and improve our operating procedures. I'm happy to announce that Devbridge is officially a certified and compliant SOC 2 Type 2 organization. While the prospect of another virtual school year certainly puts a damper on your spirits, at least you know, your data and processes are safe and secure with Devbridge.

The economic climate has put a significant amount of pressure on our clients and, in turn, on Devbridge. We had minimal exposure to highly impacted industries. We worked together with our strategic accounts to implement volume-based pricing discounts that provide welcome relief and long-term roadmap visibility and utilization to our teams. As of August, we are trending to reach 30% growth for the year.

In early March, we added additional tools and capabilities to facilitate virtual workshops, guaranteeing that requirements, project kickoffs, and retrospectives could take place online for our clients and team. Hopefully, the transition to a fully distributed model was effortless, smooth, and invisible to everyone (with the exception of extremely tasteful Zoom backgrounds).

In anticipation of an economic downturn, we paused hiring in early April. Seeing the growing demand, we resumed hiring in July. As of August 2020, we're hiring an additional ~25 professionals to our teams in London, Chicago, Toronto, Kaunas, Vilnius, and other distributed locations. The remote work strategy has not only kept our team safe and healthy, but also opened new talent pools that were not under consideration before. Here's to breaking the 600-employee mark in 2021!

Last but not least, I’d like to thank our clients for their trust and business. I also want to thank our team for staying true to our values and the endless pursuit to seek mastery, embrace transparency, take ownership, deliver results, have fun, and of course, make great things. Thank you.
