Episode six of CoinGeek Backstage has just been released on Streamanity!

In this episode, I interviewed Zach Resnick, founder and managing partner of Unbounded Capital, while Kurt Wuckert Jr. talked to Jackson Laskey, partner of Unbounded Capital/co-founder and (interim) CEO of Unbounded Enterprise.

Unbounded Capital is one of the few venture capital firms that focuses exclusively on the Bitcoin ecosystem, and its sister company Unbounded Enterprise is the latest business to enter the Bitcoin transaction processing arena.

In the first half of the interview, Zach and I discuss what a workday at Unbounded Capital looks like, why venture capitalists play an important role in the ecosystem—especially for early-stage companies, how Unbounded Capital makes investment decisions, how investors who may not be extremely involved in the blockchain and digital currency space have been receptive to Unbounded Capital’s investment thesis, as well as what the team at Unbounded Capital and Unbounded Enterprise are currently working on.

In the second half of the interview, Kurt and Jackson talk about why Unbounded Enterprise launched and decided to become a transaction processor, why Unbounded Enterprise will be using the Xoken Vega node implementation, and the approach that Unbounded Enterprise is taking when it comes to transaction processing.
