Summary of the Week

Thankfully, this week is relatively less hectic than last week. That doesn’t mean that we won’t be doing any work. We have a Cancer full moon on Tuesday at 9:28 p.m. CT, which is our second of the 2020 year. Under these skies, we are being called to pay more attention to women and family issues. Can we be humane as a people? What is the score for our collective emotional intelligence? This is where we work out any imbalances in power against the feminine. We are letting go of tradition, as we know it, especially if it doesn’t bear fruit or nourish anyone. This is a time for us to release the hold on our emotional expression. It’s been an intense year and it’s necessary to let the complex emotions we’ve dealt with come to the surface for review. Cry your tears and give yourself grace for whatever you didn’t achieve this year.

On Wednesday, Venus (in Sagittarius) squares up with Neptune (in Pisces) and things get blown out of proportion. There are a lot of big talkers full of righteousness and illusions. It’s tricky to make connections with this kind of energy because we are prone to overpromising and under-delivering, plus looking for reasons to escape and take an adventure. However, we still have a desire to find the truth despite the chaos. The best thing to do is protect your mind and spirit with facts. It’s easy to get carried away with your daydreams, so put that energy into creative projects.

Mercury (in Capricorn) collaborates with Neptune (in Pisces) on Friday (New Year’s Day) and helps us make sense of our dreams. This allows us to be deliberate with our imagination and create something meaningful, useful, and beautiful. This isn’t a great time to do detailed work, but it is perfect for getting things done that contribute to your dream. It’s okay to let yourself dream for a new year. What is possible for you now?
