Scott In a Nutshell

Dear Reader,

Hello and thank you for stopping by.  Here are some quick details about me, Scott Johnson, the author of this (and other) blog(s).

I'm a blogger, software developer, successful business man, open source advocate and more.  I've been in high tech my whole career -- since 1987 and I can't imagine doing anything else.

I'm a co-author of the O'Reilly book on blogging, a technical editor and reviewer for Sams Publishing, a speaker and instructor at PHP-CON and an author for John Wiley and Sons.  I'm also published on the web at places like phpbeginner.com and others as well as in Communications of the ACM (print).  Links to most of these are on my home page or on my resume.

More information can be found at any of these although some are a bit dated:

My current interest and business passion is the Feedster search engine for weblogs, blogs, current events and news.  I call it "Searching the Changing Web" and that's really what it does.  You might also be interested in our newest feature, Feedster Images.

Best and I hope to see you again,

Scott
