Zoom lifts 40-minute time limit on free accounts on some days

Communications firm Zoom will remove the 40-minute limit on its free accounts on a number of days during the Christmas season, the company says.
The limit will be lifted on the following days:
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: from 10am ET Wednesday 23 December (2am AEDT 24 December) to 6am Saturday 26 December (10pm AEDT 26 December)..
New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and the last day of Kwanzaa: from 10am on 30 December (2am AEDT 31 December) to 6am on 2 January (10pm AEDT 2 January).
Kwanzaa is an annual celebration of African-American culture that is held from 26 December to 1 January.
A statement from Zoom in the US said there was no need for users to do anything and the time limit would be automatically lifted.
The use of Zoom has grown by leaps and bounds during the pandemics, with companies and individuals using it to communicate both for business and personal reasons.
