The fred kickstarter has failed
Well, the fred kickstarter has failed. I take this to mean that adequate interest does not exist for this project as stated.
fred itself will still exist for my own purposes but I will no longer attempt to push it as a subscription service (the original idea, way back in 2011) or a one-time "let's turn this thing loose" (the kickstarter).
I guess I'm not much of a "product person".
