The Sunny Afternoon - A poem by Tharun

Sitting on the terrace, in the shade
Watching the green grasses of blade

It’s soothingly very sunny and silent
Feeling blissful when I meet the sun’s current

Can hear my breath flow with the wind
While the clear skies have their blueish tint

We’re drying the grains under the sun
If you’re happy, you’ve already won

I can hear a baby cry from the next door,
He is covered with a mat on the floor

I know why I sound suddenly poetic
Its because I currently feel ecstatic
