据国内媒体报道，贵州省黔南布依族苗族自治州福泉市黄丝的千年古银杏已迎来最佳观赏期，山峦叠嶂间硕大的古银杏树成为了当地独特的风景。这棵古银杏树的树龄有5000多年，2001年被载入《吉尼斯世界纪录大全》，是目前有文字记载的古银杏树之最。它树高50米，树冠覆盖600余平方米，13人牵手才能将其围抱。
