APX的百夫长型手枪其实是一个紧凑型的规格，长度与APX紧凑型完全一样，只是握把稍长，可配15发弹匣，所以就另外起了一个名字叫百夫长型。其实就是大容量的紧凑型（虽然只多了2发弹）。除握把较长、弹匣较长外，APX百夫长型使用与APX紧凑型一样的枪管、含缓冲器的复进装置。
