We're the guys behind coronavirus.app —two French and a Korean based in Taiwan. Back in January, when the coronavirus was raging next door in China, we felt really worried. So we decided we'd try and do something to help.
There wasn't really an app that allowed people to easily track the spread of the coronavirus on their smartphones. So we went ahead and built one. We launched it, journalists picked up on the story, and then millions of people started using it.
