快手首个超大规模数据中心落地乌兰察布，投资达百亿

短视频平台快手宣布，投资百亿在内蒙古乌兰察布市建数据中心。今天，双方在北京举办了签约仪式。该数据中心是快手第一个自建超大规模互联网数据中心，也是国内最大的专门为“大数据、人工智能”建设的数据中心。
据悉，该数据中心体量在业内仅次于腾讯、阿里巴巴，将由快手技术团队自主研发，将支撑快手大数据、人工智能等核心技术平台，为快手的长期发展提供充裕的资源保障。
快手CEO宿华在签约仪式上表示，建设乌兰察布大数据中心是快手积极响应中央提出的“新基建”国家经济战略号召，全力支持内蒙古自治区“新基建”布局。 通过落地大数据中心，快手将切实推动内蒙古自治区数字经济发展。
