编者注：本文为来自 ConsenSys 的 Quilt 团队的演讲幻灯片。Quilt 团队此前一直在与以太坊基金会的 Ewasm 团队和 Eth2 研究团队开展有关 Eth2 Phase 2 的研究。
本次演讲的主题为 “Eth2 Execution（Eth2 执行）”，前半部分是是 Eth2 各阶段的功能和定位简介；后半部分则围绕 Phase 2 的 EE（Execution Environment，执行环境）概念介绍了 EE 会带来的范式转变、当前的研究方向。
值得注意的地方有两点：一是所谓的 “Phase 1.5”，这是新近提出的一个思路，就是在 Phase 1 提出后，不等 Phase 2 上线，先完成 Eth1 和 Eth2 的合并，把 Eth1 变成一个分片；当然，这种思路尚未获得共识；二是 “账户抽象化”，作者把账户抽象化看作是先把 EE 的一些核心功能带到 Eth1 上，引入一种可以自己发送交易的合约并定制化交易的格式和验证程序，并认为账户抽象化具有广阔的应用前景。
