Apache Solr is the most widely used open source solution for full-text search in terms of query volume and combined corpus size. Unfortunately, it’s still hard to manage, particularly at large scale. Yet the majority of the world’s companies running Solr run it on a CMS platform that doesn’t specialize in building high-performing search solutions at the largest scale in the world as Lucidworks does. Last September at ACTIVATE 2019 , the Search and AI conference, we previewed a product that bundles learnings from 13 years of supporting Solr customers.

Joining the Adobe Marketing Cloud Ecosystem

This January, we made another strategic step in acquiring the premier provider of search consulting specifically for commerce in Cirrus 10. Then we shored up our investment in the ecommerce space with our newest product, Lucidworks Managed Search , which now integrates with the Adobe Experience Manager CMS platform to support the broader Adobe Marketing Cloud Ecosystem and a host of other CMS-platforms—like WooCommerce and Magento—more commonly used for ecommerce.
