近日国新办举行的新闻发布会上披露，可利霉素首次公开出现于治疗新冠肺炎有效药物的官方名单。该药在临床研究中显示对新冠肺炎有一定治疗效果。可利霉素由沈阳同联集团有限公司与中国科学院医药生物技术研究所共同研发，2019年6月上市。
