Y ouTube is a great platform for both entertainment and education. The best thing about it is, there isn’t a 10 dollar per month subscription to watching videos on Youtube, it’s all free for you to watch. Except for the only currency, you pay for watching them is your time, and what you decide to watch is entirely up to you. The thing about YouTube is if you know how to use it wisely, valuing your time and being aware of the videos you watch, you actually gain something useful from it that adds value to your life. That’s a concept called opportunity cost.

“There is an opportunity cost for everything we do. This is why we must have the awareness to ensure that what we are pursuing is really what we value, because the pursuit leaves countless lost opportunities in its wake. We choose one experience at the sacrifice of all other experiences.” — Chris Matakas

Data Science on YouTube

Data Science online courses with questionable prices are flooding the internet, most of which are not credible and are just a marketing strategy. Instead of scouring the internet, why not go to YouTube? YouTube a great platform to learn because of its ability to visualize complex topics. If you were to learn about NLP, would you read a book about it or watch a seasoned programmer explain it to you with code and intuitive examples? I myself would prefer the latter.

Although YouTube suffers from similar issues of clickbait videos, there are some really good gems in the platform with resourceful people practically giving away tutorials and courses for free. So in this article, I will be sharing these gems that create the best videos on Data Science, whether its advice, coding tutorials, projects, etc.

With Covid-19 keeping everyone in their homes, this is the perfect opportunity to start learning something new, and why not make that Data Science? A field that is booming and is playing a huge role in society. Instead of reading it up from a book, follow these YouTubers and gain insights and advice from their years of experience in the field. Plus you can learn how to code by following through their tutorials and pick up a new skill.

So, fire up YouTube in the next tab and subscribe to these YouTubers below!
