一年一度的高通骁龙科技峰会正在夏威夷举行，本年度最重磅产品的是旗舰SoC骁龙865，而最热门的话题是5G。高通已将骁龙865和765的详细参数公布，两款都支持5G，但搭载的方式却不一样，骁龙765是首个集成了5G基带到SoC上的平台，而865却和上一代855一样是外挂的基带芯片，与上代不同的，这次高通默认厂商必须外挂。
