消息称滴滴出行已暂停探索孵化其酒店旅游业务

据 36 氪 报道，滴滴出行已经暂停探索孵化其酒店旅游业务，该业务的负责人已经转岗到 GR 部门，内部员工则转岗或被裁员。
报道称，酒旅业务由滴滴的 R-Lab 团队孵化，此前一共有十人左右全职工作，该团队去年曾到全国各酒店考察。据称负责这业务的是一名工号非常靠前的老员工，此人曾在滴滴外卖团队。
滴滴出行去年 7 月与在线旅行企业 Booking Holdings 达成了战略合作关系，同时滴滴也获得了来自 Booking Holdings 的5 亿美元战略投资。作为合作的一部分，Booking Holdings 旗下应用将为用户提供滴滴叫车服务接口，滴滴乘客也将可以直接通过 Booking.com 或 Agoda 平台进行酒店预订。
据报道，滴滴暂停探索孵化其酒店旅游业务，或许是因发现商业模式不佳，无法在短期内带来回报。考虑到滴滴目前对烧钱的业务相对谨慎，所以这一结果似乎不难理解。
