腾讯优图推出 “AI 手语翻译机”，未来有望在公共场所应用

5 月 16 日，腾讯优图实验室基于自研的手语识别算法正式推出 “AI 手语翻译机”。
据悉，这款翻译机能识别 900 个常用手语词汇，覆盖听障者大部分的日常表达用语。它以普通摄像头作为数据采集装置，依托高性能计算机进行后台运算，用户只需在任意的白色背景区域，面对摄像头完成手语表达，翻译机就能实时转换为文字并反馈给用户。
腾讯表示，未来，它将在机场、高铁、民政窗口等公共场所部署应用，除此之外，它还将与信息无障碍研究会展开深度合作，推动无障碍建设。
