Spiro
This repository contains development work for Spiro, an interpolating spline based on spirals.
The Spiro splines are described in great detail in Raph Levien's thesis.
The code in this repository is primarily for reference and historical purposes, as active development of a new spline continues at spline.technology.

The code in this repository is licensed under the terms of the Apache-2 or MIT license, at your choice.
The ideas in this repository are free for all to implement. Previously there were patents, but those are hereby passed into the public domain.
Note that libspiro, which was forked from this codebase before its relicensing, is still released under the GNU General Public License.
