本周的一大热点是云游戏服务：Google 公布了云游戏服务 Stadia，微软也在 GDC 上举办了游戏串流服务 xCloud 的开发者论坛。而根据 US Gamer 的报道，“熟悉沃尔玛计划，希望保持匿名的多个消息来源”表示，沃尔玛正在探索推出自己的云游戏服务以与 Google 竞争的可能性。
静下来想一下，这并非不可能。作为世界上最大的零售商之一，沃尔玛手握大量资金，这家公司有能力支持类似的项目。
类似 Google Stadia 这样的服务非常依赖数据中心，最近，沃尔玛与微软达成了一项为期五年的合作协议——在整个公司内部使用微软的 Azure 和 Microsoft 365 产品，用于面向机器学习、人工智能和数据平台的项目。巧的是，微软也正在建立自己的云游戏服务，所以未来我们有可能会看到沃尔玛和微软在相关领域强强联手。或者说，沃尔玛的云游戏服务就是微软 xCloud 的套壳产品？
