This month, we take a look at a tool that allows Design by Contractwith Java. The Design by Contract technique stresses the importanceof explicitly specifying the constraints that hold before and aftera software component executes. The iContract Java languageextension implements Design by Contract for Java. We discuss themerits of Design by Contract, introduce iContract, and walk througha nice little example in code.
