据 Axios 报道，苹果不到 1 亿美元的价格收购了一家为唱片和经纪人提供音乐分析引擎的初创企业 Asaii。
Asaii 将能够加强 Apple Music 的内容推荐功能，对于艺人来说，这笔收购也可以帮助 Apple Music 提供更好的数据分析能力，这对一些独立音乐人和一些规模较小的唱片公司来说是具有一定吸引力的。
收购 Asaii 能够帮助苹果在音乐流媒体领域更好地与 Spotify 竞争，虽然 Apple Music 的付费用户数早在今年 4 月就已经突破 4000 万，目前已接近 5000 万，但相比 Spotify，Apple Music 需要做的努力依然还有很多。
根据 Spotify 此前公布的财报，Spotify 今年第一季度来自付费订阅用户的营收为 10.37 亿欧元，同比增长 25%，不计不计汇率兑换负面影响的经调整数据在内则同比增长 36%。
