新浪科技讯 北京时间10月4日晚间消息，菲律宾PLDT公司今日宣布，中国互联网巨头 腾讯 和私募股权公司KKR将获得该公司旗下金融科技公司Voyager Innovations的少数股权。
PLDT在一份声明中称：“腾讯和KKR最多将分别收购价值1.75亿美元的Voyager Innovations新股，从而成为后者的小股东。”
PLDT称，到目前为止这笔交易是菲律宾科技公司所获得的最大投资。在腾讯和KKR购买Voyager Innovations新股后，PLDT仍将持有后者的大多数股权。
Voyager Innovations主要通过电子钱包、数字支付和汇款服务为数百万菲律宾消费者提供数字和金融服务。
PLDT在声明中称：“凭借新投资者的全球性专业技能和资金注入，Voyager Innovations将进一步推动菲律宾消费者广泛地接入互联网和移动支付服务。”
Voyager Innovations在菲律宾的主要竞争对手包括Globe Fintech Innovations公司，该公司去年获得了蚂蚁金服的投资。（李明）
