IT之家9月17日消息 上周飓风“佛罗伦萨”袭击了美国地区。据MacRumors消息，苹果CEO蒂姆库克上周也发布推文表示，苹果将向美国红十字会捐赠100万美元，用以支持飓风佛罗伦萨的救援工作。
库克在推文中说道：
卡罗莱纳州（IT之家注：北卡罗来纳州和南卡罗来纳州）在我们心中。希望我们在那里的员工，希望应急人员还有飓风“佛罗伦萨”路径中的每个人保持安全。苹果将向红十字会捐赠100万美元，以帮助受影响的人。
以往在灾害发生之时，苹果经常通过App Store和iTunes Store接受客户的红十字捐赠，并用横幅加以突出显示。不过目前苹果尚未放出相关的横幅。
飓风“佛罗伦萨”于美国时间9月13日登陆美国东海岸，造成了巨大的影响。据《华盛顿邮报》北京时间消息，“佛罗伦萨”至少已造成11人遇难。
