8月15日，红芯公司宣布完成2.5亿元C轮系列战略融资。该公司称其自主研发的红芯浏览器具备核心技术，并推出了世界第五颗也是唯一一颗属于中国人自己的浏览器内核红芯Redcore。投资者很多，在投资名录中，俨然有晨兴、IDG、达晨创投这样的知名投资机构。这三家机构在此前两轮投资中都参与过，此轮属于跟投。
