世行将首次使用区块链技术发行债券

新浪 美股讯 北京时间10日路透社称，世界银行已委托澳大利亚联邦银行（CBA）安排一次开创性的债券发行，使用区块链进行发行和运营，以简化融资和交易。这将是世行首次使用区块链技术发行债券。
这只债券名为“bond-i”，是“区块链发行新债务工具”的英文首字母缩写，也与CBA发祥地的知名海滩同名。
世行与CBA周五表示，投资者对这批债券的兴趣强劲，定于本月晚些时候发售，融资约1亿澳元。
世行与CBA表示，使用区块链技术将有助于简化融资和交易，并改善监管监督。
据英国《金融时报》报道，区块链能够将结算债券所需时间从五天减少到几秒，同时可能实现发债融资完全透明并降低费用，这种尚未实现的潜力最终将成为区块链技术的部分吸引力。
世行每年发行500亿至600亿美元的债券，以支持新兴经济体的发展。
