美国男子持械“抢劫域名”被判刑

“劫持域名（Domain hijacking）”一般指通过社交工程、网络钓鱼、利用域名注册系统漏洞等非法网络犯罪手段控制网络域名。但是在美国爱荷华州发生了一起特殊的“劫持域名”案例，名为Sherman Hopkins Jr的男子闯入网络企业家Ethan Deyo的公寓，持枪威胁要求其交出域名。
根据The Telegraph报道,嫌犯Hopkins头戴“丝袜面具”和墨镜闯入Ethan Deyo家中，持械威胁其通过电脑转移Deyo的一个域名注册信息至另一个账户。Deyo满足了嫌犯的要求，但是注册信息转移时要求输入了一个账户的邮编地址和电话。嫌犯被要求如何输入后他知道“域名劫持”失败了，用手枪袭击了Deyo并使用电击枪点击它。Deyo苏醒后与嫌犯发生扭打并抢夺过武器，过程中Deyo的腿部被击中，但当Deyo成功夺过火器后朝攻击者胸部发射了几枪。在抢救后，Hopkins活过来并面临“劫持”“暴力犯罪中使用武器”等数项重罪指控，Hopkins最后达成认罪协议，以“通过威胁和暴力进行商业干涉和试图干涉”判处20年监禁。
