研究发现性交引起心脏骤停后伴侣通常不会做心肺复苏
根据发表在美国心脏协会 Scientific Sessions 2017 会议上的一项研究，性交通常并不会导致心脏骤停，但如果发生的话你伴侣通常不会做心肺复苏法。研究人员检查了在 2002 年到 2015 年之间发生的 4557 宗心脏骤停案例，当中只有 34 宗有研究对象在性交期间或性交后一小时后出现心脏骤停，而这些个案中，有 32 宗个案是男性。心脏骤停是指心脏突然停止运作，患者可停止呼吸，并失去知觉。如不及时为病人施行心肺复苏法，病者有可能会死亡。研究发现，这些个案中，虽然病者的伴侣在场，只有约三分之一为他们施行心肺复苏法。
