近日，苏州警方查处了一间民房。民房里藏有化工废水与危险化学品，废水发出刺激气味，经查含有剧毒。该民房的租客是一对经营金店的夫妇，他们收购废弃手机在此“炼金”。据了解，每吨废手机能提取150克黄金。也就是说，一百来个废旧手机，就能打出一只不小的金戒指。目前，屋内废水已全部封存运走。涉事夫妇因污染环境被刑事拘留。
