奇虎 360 正通过借壳上市的方式回归 A 股，中国证券会在 2016 年中开始严控借壳上市行为，因为担心那些被视为潜在壳资源的小型股被热炒。但对奇虎的借壳上市，证监会表示“将重点支持符合国家产业战略发展方向、掌握核心技术、具有一定规模的优质境外上市中资企业参与 A 股公司并购重组”。分析师认为，奇虎回归 A 股可能会掀起海外上市中国科技公司的回归潮。公司创始人周鸿祎称，网络安全行业很特殊，任何网络安全公司做大了，都需要和国家利益保持一致。他还表示，作为美国上市公司时，奇虎在收购新技术时面临着严格审查。
