胡夫金字塔发现巨大空洞
日本和法国科学家利用名叫 Muography 的成像技术去感知大型岩石结构内部的密度变化，在埃及著名的胡夫金字塔内部发现了一个以前未知的巨大空洞。由于无法访问，目前还不清楚空洞存在的原因，也不知道其中是否保存了有价值的物品。胡夫金字塔建于公元前 2509 到 2483，是最大的埃及金字塔。新发现的空洞长大约 30 米，高约数米。研究团队非常谨慎，没有将新发现的空洞描绘为某种密室。团队的一位负责人、开罗大学的 Hany Helal 认为空洞太大，因此并不具有卸压的目的，专家们将对此展开辩论。
