美国有统计数字指当地建筑有20% 的热量经由窗户流失，要是用上大量玻璃的商用大楼更是不止这数字，所以在天冷的时候就要调高暖气的温度来弥补。但研究员就想出了个新方法来解决问题，就是把窗户都转变成太阳能发热板，利用太阳光来提升接近摄氏 9 度。
