近日，苏格兰警方正在研究 AR 眼镜的计划，这些眼镜可以提供面部识别、即时翻译语言，甚至唇语解读。AR 眼镜还可以闪烁信息，例如当地犯罪的最新数据，并提醒官员注意枪支等威胁。
苏格兰警察局（SPA）近日通过了一项 4 亿英镑的“数字部门”计划，以打击网络犯罪，目前该部门已经招募了数十名警员。
在 SPA 董事会会议上，首席数字信息官 Andrew Hendry 所提交的一份论文指出：“就新兴数字技术而言，包括但不限于人工智能、机器学习和面部识别，至关重要的是，只有在进行适当的数据道德评估后，才考虑将这些技术引入行动警务。”
