Nvidia has used the Computex trade show in Taiwan to announce a raft of products.
Among the announcements:
The GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip is now in full production.
It combines the Arm-based Grace CPU and Hopper GPU architectures using NVLink-C2C interconnect technology to delivers up to 900GBps total bandwidth, or seven times that of standard PCIe Gen5 lanes.
That makes it suitable for the most demanding generative AI and HPC applications, according to Nvidia.
"Generative AI is rapidly transforming businesses, unlocking new opportunities and accelerating discovery in healthcare, finance, business services and many more industries," said Nvidia vice president of accelerated computing Ian Buck.
"With Grace Hopper Superchips in full production, manufacturers worldwide will soon provide the accelerated infrastructure enterprises need to build and deploy generative AI applications that leverage their unique proprietary data."
The GH200 Grace Hopper Superchips are being used in conjunction with the NVLink Switch in Nvidia's DGX supercomputers aimed at giant, next-generation models for generative AI language applications, recommender systems and data analytics workloads.
Nvidia's own Helios supercomputer will include four DGX GH200 systems.
The Spectrum-X accelerated networking platform is based on the company's Spectrum-4 Ethernet switch and BlueField-3 DPU.
The company says this delivers a 1.7x better overall AI performance and power efficiency, along with consistent, predictable performance in multi-tenant environments.
It allows 256 200Gbps ports to be connected by a single switch, or 16,000 ports in a two-tier leaf-spine topology.
"Transformative technologies such as generative AI are forcing every enterprise to push the boundaries of data center performance in pursuit of competitive advantage," said Nvidia senior vice president of networking Gilad Shainer.
"Nvidia Spectrum-X is a new class of Ethernet networking that removes barriers for next-generation AI workloads that have the potential to transform entire industries."
