With the help of gpt-3.5-turbo, you'll get back a summary including a title, three bullet points and a 100 word summary.
Handy for quickly getting the grasp of a webpage or pdf, without having to browse it fully.
Howdy folks, this is a tool I built to easily summarise webpages and pdfs.
It helps me to quickly get a sense for an article. Then I can decide whether to read further or not.
This is the first time I've built an express app and I'm beginner-intermediate coder, but using chatGPT made this a lot quicker than otherwise.
Some notes on the build: - gpt-3.5-turbo for summarising - mozilla for getting web pages in readable format - cheerio for getting text from pdfs
Let me know your feedback and suggestions for improvements!
It's an alpha product and there are some edge cases that aren't fully working... and my error handling needs to be improved.
