Twitter行政总裁马斯克（Elon Musk）正物饰接班人选，据美媒3月1日报道，博林公司（Boring Company）总裁兼Twitter高层戴维斯（Steve Davis）或正预备任职Twitter新一任行政总裁。
《商业内幕》（Business Insider）1日引述硅谷新闻网站“平台”（Platformer）消息称，Twitter员工曾接听戴维斯电话，答复员工表现问题，稍后公司即宣布新一轮裁员，引致公司内部多人猜测戴维斯或为Twitter新任行政总裁人选。
戴维斯2019年起担任马斯克旗下隧道建设公司博林行政总裁，此前曾在太空探索技术公司（SpaceX）工作，科技新闻网站The Information称，二人自2003年以来一直合作至今。

报道称，戴维斯2022年10月曾仿效马斯克，留宿于Twitter旧金山总部，更携同妻子和二人刚诞下的婴儿入住，是睡在办公室的首批Twitter员工之一。
本次并非戴维斯首次负责削减公司成本。马斯克曾要求戴维斯设法减少5亿美元开支，最终他透过削减外部公司合约及更改相关条款，为Twitter省下近10亿美元支出。
