M1 Mac Mini 512gb SSD speed
Anyone know the M1 Mac Mini 512gb SSD speed? I saw some figures for the M1 Mac Mini 256gb SSD and also for the Macbook Pro 512gb SSD, but I haven't seen the figures for the 512gb SSD in the M1 Mac Mini.

Mine are fairly similar:
BM: (3GB)
• Write: ~2750 to 2875 MB/s
• Read: ~2850 to 2920 MB/s
TTP: (5GB)
• Write: ~2900 to 3015 MB/s
• Read: ~2945 to 2955 MB/s

Here is the write speed for the M2 Pro Mini 512gb SSD. I think it has a single NAND chip.My M1 mini 512GB Blackmagic (3GB):

Single chip would mean less than the 3000+ mb/s in the chart thoughHere is the write speed for the M2 Pro Mini 512gb SSD. I think it has a single NAND chip.

If you read the comments someone corrected him which he agreed to and people mentioned other tear down videos showing it’s 2 X 256gb.M2 Pro Mac Mini 512gb SSD is single NAND
You wouldn’t get 3000mb/s with one nand. It would be 1500mb/s.
I really wish he edited and reuploaded video with a proper look around and not rush to clicks spreading misinformation like in this thread.

I have not yet seen the M2 Mini 512gb SSD speed. Maybe it is the same as the M2 Pro Mini 512gb or maybe it is slower. Has anyone seen anything?
I have an M1 Mini 16gb/512gb and I am thinking of getting an M2 Mini 24gb/512gb. The 40% faster Neural Engine would be good for Topaz and DXO. Lightroom Classic likely uses it for its AI masking and Photoshop likely uses it for Neural filters also. The faster single core speed would also help Lightroom.

Someone tested their 512gb M2 mini: I am looking to buy a 16/512 configuration as well.I have not yet seen the M2 Mini 512gb SSD speed. Maybe it is the same as the M2 Pro Mini 512gb or maybe it is slower. Has anyone seen anything?

Thanks for that! I was getting concerned that the M2 Mini 512gb may be slower than the M2 Pro Mini 512gb. Glad to see that it isn't. Here is screenshot for the M2 Mini 512gb from the other thread to help people in this thread.Someone tested their 512gb M2 mini: I am looking to buy a 16/512 configuration as well.
