Assuming the rumors of a 15-inch MBA are true, I'm wondering what people think today's MacBook Pro release tells us about the upcoming Air?

I know I'm asking for people to make their best guess, but just wondering what those guesses may be.
  • Will the 15" Air have the standard M2, a new M3 (presumably weaker than the M2 Pro and M2 Max), or will it even come with an M2 Pro option?
  • New MBP has 22 hour battery life. Will MBA have longer battery life?
  • Will the Air have Wi-fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 like the new MBP?
  • Storage options for 15" Air? Starting at 512GB or still at 256GB?
  • Color options? Will the 15" Air just be space grey or silver, or will it get the color options of the M2 13" Air?

IMO
  1. Should definitely come with M3 and no Pro for the Air.
  2. With M3 the battery life for the Air should be AWESOME.(24h+)
  3. I guess we'll see this new 15" Air at the end of the year so yes definitely Wi-fi 6 and better Bluetooth.
  4. That's a tough one but wouldn't it be a shame to stay at 256GB @Apple?
  5. Midnight and maybe(BIG maybe) a new colour.

15" means bigger size = bigger battery

I'm guessing it will come out with M3, no point in using the same silicon for different form factor.

  • Will the 15" Air have the standard M2, a new M3 (presumably weaker than the M2 Pro and M2 Max), or will it even come with an M2 Pro option? If we are to get a 15" Air "this generation", meaning by summer 2023, then it will have the M2. I don't see Apple refreshing CPU's more than 1x every 12 months, but closer to 18-24 months. We would then see the 13" and 15" M3 MBA's in early-mid 2024.
  • New MBP has 22 hour battery life. Will MBA have longer battery life? Compared to which product though? Perhaps more than the 13" M2 MBA. Real world battery life heavily depends on usage any way and someone using a MBA will have a different use case vs. a MBP.
  • Will the Air have Wi-fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 like the new MBP? I could see Apple withholding this until the M3 refresh and keeping this for the MBP's for now, but I'd love to be wrong.
  • Storage options for 15" Air? Starting at 512GB or still at 256GB? I wouldn't hold my breath here and sadly assume 256GB but I'd love to be wrong. It probably depends on how Apple positions and prices it.
  • Color options? Will the 15" Air just be space grey or silver, or will it get the color options of the M2 13" Air? I'd assume same as 13" MBA.
My thoughts bolded above
