i am looking for a way to disable presidential alerts on the pixel 6.
nothing i have found yet works
(eg. editing /data/data/com.android.mms/shared_prefs)

and my country is so stupid it sends out every alert as a presidential alert.
there should a a .XML file somewhere to edit that will do it

so i would be very grateful for any advice
if all else fails removeing the apk in charge should also do it.
there are three possible options to remove an apk
cell broadcast service R (with a extra overlay apk)
cell broadcast receiver R (with a extra overlay apk)
wireless emergency alerts R

research point: but nothing is mentioned about the apk "wireless emergency alerts R"

so im not sure wht is the best method to stop these pointless alerts for everything in my county

edit the file "com.android.cellbroadcastreceiver_preferences.xml"
-change presidential value to "false" and whatever else you'd like to be changed

edit com.android.mms_preferences.xml

those dont exist on my pixel
