Thanks, just deleting data and cache will not solve this problem. I had to wipe everything and install just ROM and gapps, then Play Store will be certified and update to the latest build. After disabled Play Protect, flashed Magisk, installed Magisk apk and added Play Store and Google Play Services to Deny list.

Thanks for taking a look. Nop, latest 8.18.1 is crashing identical as before, just before any logo/login window appears (only white screen, then crash).

Unfortunately, AirDroid: File & Remote Access 4.2.9.10 app installed from Play Store is crashing too straight after app splash screen appears.

Also I get terribly slow GPS fix in an open area. It takes 15 minutes and more to get the fix with 28-30 sat in view and +15 in use. Any solution?

A. Standard LineageOS 18.1 build
This build flavor aims at providing LineageOS 18.1 "as is" with most recent security patches.
If you want to install Google Apps (GApps) you have to use this build variant.

Hi, i have actually installed LOS 18.1, May 9 version with Microg.
Comparing with 17.1 latest it has more battery consumption and more delayed reactions.
I have experienced more delay for loading some options in apps like settings, camera, file manager and almost every app is opening with some 1-5 second delay more than 17.1.
It is normal in Android 11?
If not, someone had experienced similar thing?
This is old device, but it has good hardware and can go better.
In my case, 17.1 is going better with lower battery consumption. I will do an revert back.

Hi, thanks for your feedback.
In general, every major android release is significantly more resource demanding - and Android 11 vs. 10 isn't an exception. So yes, there is a certain lag to be observed - but I did not experience too significant lags on my own device, compared to 17.1 (although there is, not debating this). Having said so, Android 11 for sure marks a boundary for this device, which cannot be overcome (e.g. because this ROM still uses a 3.4 kernel).
