Tikal ，是一家开源的开发工具提供商。最近发布了 Tikal Update Manager (TUM). TUM 是一个Eclipse 及其插件，工具的安装、升级管理器。
Tikal 把tum比作 Yellow dog Updater (YUM)。 Yum 是一个在linux系统上的兼容rpm的开源命令行管理工具组。
TUM的图形界面提供了预览所有可用插件和工具的窗口，可以用来浏览、安装、更新或者删除各种不同的开源插件和工具。
TUM可以链接到所有Eclipse 的更新站点，允许访问这些站点的内容、类别等数据，其中包括Callisto 这类的资源库。
Tum 的开源协议使用的是LGPL，文档齐全。
