Reddit 提供了新闻聚合功能，它允许读者对新闻链接投票将其顶到热度前列。但进行投票的人有多少真的点开链接阅读了内容？根据发表在《IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems》上的一项研究，Notre Dame 大学的研究人员发现 73% 的 Reddit 用户在投票前没有点击阅读内容。这项研究是基于在一年时间内 309 个网站的 Reddit 用户活动数据集的分析。Reddit 是美国第四大网站，月活跃用户 2.34 亿。这一现象部分可能与网站内容有关，今天的许多新闻只需要标题就足够了。
