Complete content takedown orders within one hour, Google is better on compliance: Centre to Meta

Meta has been instructed by the Indian government to handle any content takedown orders issued by authorities within an hour of receiving such formal information.
The tech giant was also informed that Google, a competitor in Silicon Valley, is performing better on this front and that the government anticipates a higher rate of compliance with takedown notices from authorities.
