生物基材料设计与研发公司 “中科国生” 近日宣布完成近亿元 Pre-A 轮融资，由君联资本领投，君盛投资和钟鼎资本跟投，探究资本作为独家财务顾问。此轮融资交易于今年 8 月初完成，资金将主要用于核心管线产品 5-羟甲基糠醛（HMF）、2,5-呋喃二甲酸（FDCA）、2,5-四氢呋喃二甲醇（THFDM）产能放大及下游衍生物的持续开发。
中科国生成立于 2021 年 7 月，创始团队毕业于中国科学院大连化学物理研究所，专注生物基材料的设计与开发，公司开创了 HMF 连续化生产工艺。目前，下游衍生物也已完成多个领域应用的开发和验证，尤其是在共聚酯方面亦取得突破性的进展。
