彭博9月26日消息，苹果公司当地时间周一通过电子邮件发声明称，苹果已开始在印度生产iPhone 14。此时距苹果发布iPhone 14才过去不到三周。
《环球时报》上月报道称，据业内人士爆料，苹果此前打算在9月iPhone 14开售后缩短印度同中国的“生产时差”，计划在iPhone 14开售两个月之后就开始在印度生产。此前，苹果正式对外宣布已开始在印度生产iPhone 13，这是在2017年生产iPhone SE后，印度本土组装生产的第四款iPhone。
